The FFA Cup is a national knockout tournament run by Football Federation Australia in conjunction with every State and Territory Member Federation in the country.

The competition commences with the Preliminary Rounds before moving into the Final Rounds (from the Round of 32 onwards), the stage when the 10 Hyundai A-League clubs join the fray.

In 2019, Central Coast Football will have 13 clubs from its BPL and Mens Division One competitions entering the FFA Cup. In addition, Central Coast United, from the FNSW State League will also enter the competition, leading to a total of 14 teams representing the Central Coast in Australia’s premier cup competition.
