Central Coast Football has today announced the signing of a lease covering all Football Facilities at Budgewoi Soccer Ovals, Millington Way Buff Point.
The lease includes 3 x Full size fields, 1 x MiniRoos field, canteen facilities, change rooms and amenities along with maintenance and administration of the complex.
This is the first step in a detailed strategy aimed at alleviating the shortage of sporting fields for football activities on the Central Coast, specifically during peak pre-season and wet weather periods.
CCF CEO Darren Sprod commented; “This lease will significantly increase the availability and access to football fields, enabling increased value to our members.”
Along with CCF’s existing Pluim Park Complex in Lisarow, Budgewoi FC will be additionally utilised for Pre-Season training, Pre Season Cup competitions, overflow games and Finals series matches. Budgewoi FC will still continue to have full access to facilities and first priority for match days with CCF and the Club Executive to meet over the coming weeks to establish scheduling. Budgewoi Junior Vice President Alicia Hills is looking forward to the exciting development, stating: “Budgewoi FC are excited by the agreement and the opportunity to work with Central Coast Football”.
The lease will commence October 1st and CCF will continue to work with the current maintenance staff and other suppliers over the transition period into the 2018 winter football season.
