On Friday the 22nd of February, Central Coast Football hosted its inaugural match of ‘Walking Football’, a version of the game designed to allow seniors to remain an active participant in the game we all know and love. The event was held in conjunction with the NSW Governments ‘Seniors Week’ celebrations for 2019.
The event proved to be incredibly popular amongst the senior community, with all enjoying the opportunity to get involved with Football again. NBN news dropped in to provide some coverage of the event, with many of the participants showcasing their skills in front of the cameras.
