THE STEERING COMMITEE

The Women’s Football Steering Committee (WFSC) has been tasked to lay out framework for developing the women’s game, both on and off the pitch, at all levels.

All CCF Clubs were given the opportunity to nominate members for this commitee, which is intended to give all stakeholders confidence that the review process is robust, considered, transparent and accountable.

The establishment of the Women’s Football Steering Committee enabled significant engagement with our community, such as the all-club Female Football Forums, Registered Player Surveys and consultation with our external stakeholders.

Composed of a range of experiences in the female game from diverse backgrounds, their insights and recommendations will pave the way for the game from 2024 onwards.

OUR GOALS

Every role, from player to volunteer, contributes to the community of football, and Central Coast Football is dedicated to empowering each one.

  • 3322 Female Players – Goal 5000
  • 118 Female Coaches – Goal 250
  • 29 Female Referees – Goal 100
  • 3 Clubs with Female LEADERSHIP – Goal 12
  • 7 Clubs Participating in Premier Competitions – Goal 23

Our vision extends beyond the pitch. While the exhilaration of a match and the roar of the crowd are undeniably vital elements of football, we recognize that the essence of the sport lies in its vast and interconnected community. Football is not just about players; it’s a tapestry woven together by coaches, referees, administrators, volunteers, and passionate supporters.

Our overarching goal is to nurture participation across all these facets. Every individual, regardless of their role, brings a unique perspective and value to the game. By encouraging diverse involvement, we’re not just strengthening the sport; we’re building a more inclusive and vibrant community.

Your Game. Your Voice.
