Central Coast Football is pleased to offer male and female players aged 13-18 the opportunity to participate in the inaugural CCF Future Leaders Community Program.

The CCF Future Leaders Community Program is a youth leadership program specifically designed to improve the participants leadership skills in a sporting environment (on and off field), and within their family life, at school or in employment.

Training will be delivered by the Institute of Sport, a globally certified learning provider in this area.

During the season, participants will be expected to take on a leadership role within their club to put the skills learnt into practice. These roles may include refereeing, coaching, and/or helping with club match day operations.

Players don’t have to be currently in a leadership role within their team to be eligible to be considered.

Participants will complete three modules:

  1. The Basics of Football Leadership
  2. Personal Branding for Football Leaders
  3. Communication for Football Leaders

Program Components:

  • 1 x 2-hour online module (must be completed prior to the face-to-face workshops)
  • 2 x workshops @ Pluim Park, with the head of the Institute of Sport, Dave Arthur
    • Preseason 4th March
    • In Season – July date TBC.

All successful participants will be awarded a joint CCF / iSport certificate of completion.
