In a boost for Coaches across the Central Coast, CCF has engaged the experienced coach and administrator Peter Preston to lead coaching education and development initiatives for 2023 & beyond.

Peter joins CCF with a wealth of coaching and community football experience from Killarney & the Central Coast Mariners Academy.

The role will work collaboratively with all CCF Clubs to create opportunities for every coach to have a face-to-face education session through Coaching Courses, Workshops & FNSW aligned programs.

CCF CEO Alex Burgin said that the Association was committed to making sure that everyone involved has an opportunity to learn & develop their skills:

“Coaching is a cornerstone of our game, and it’s important to as an association that we give as much support and training as possible to our volunteers. We know that the number one impact on player retention is coaching, so providing our clubs with a designated resource in this area will help improve the overall community football experience“
