CCF are looking for new and innovative ways to address our referee shortage & help cover some of our weekend fixtures
We know that someone has to referee the game, and the Club Ref program provides
support, training and incentives to those that can jump in and help out week-by-week.
FREE REGISTRATION
Any Club Referee that officiates more than 15 matches throughout the season will receive FREE REGO for the 2024 CCF winter season*
Our data shows that if all 24 clubs managed to cover an extra 30 games throughout the season, we would almost be able to have a ref at every game!

All of our Club Referees can pick and choose when they jump onto a game – your local club official will be able to see which games are uncovered week-to-week.
We anticipate most uncovered fixtures to be Sunday Juniors & Sunday All Age games.

Where do I REFEREE?
Only ref at your home ground! Club referees will only jump in if your club has uncovered fixtures ..
HOW DO I GET PAID?
Club Referees will get paid directly by CCF into your nominated bank account.
All Club Ref payments are Tax FREE!
CAN ANYONE be a club referee?
You must be over 18 to join our club referee program.
Not to worry if you are a bit younger – we can get you on a Level 4 ref course!
am i covered by insurance?
Yes – you are helping out as part of our football family and fall under the FNSW personal injury policy

1. TALK TO YOUR CLUB
Esure that your club is participating in the Club Refere Program & let them know you are interested in helping out!
2. TAKE THE TEST
All club referees must pass CCF’s short quiz (10 questions) to ensure you are aware of your roles and responsibilities.
3. GET YOUR GEAR & GO!
CCF will review your Quiz submission & ensure your club needs a Club Ref.
Once Round 1 rolls around, you may have a chance to jump on the field. Your club will already have a Referee Kit in stock and ready to go.
Every club will manage their own club referees – CCF won’t be appointing you to games. If your club has a gap they need filled, they will contact you directly.
