Sunday saw another full day of Champion of Champions action for our Central Coast sides still alive in the Football NSW tournament. After receiving a ‘bye’ in the opening round, eleven of the Central Coasts thirteen entrants progressed to the third round, with their quarter final matches taking place on Sunday.

Of the remaining eleven sides in action on Sunday, six managed to seal progression to the semi-final stage, a fantastic achievement. In news that is equally as pleasing, Football NSW has scheduled all six sides semi-finals at Pluim Park, the home of Central Coast Football. All results involving Central Coast sides have been included below.

Terrigal United’s U12 Boys side progressed to the semi-final stage following their second successive 2-0 victory, whilst Berkeley Vale’s U13 Boys side progressed with a big 4-1 victory over Kemps Creek. Elsewhere, Southern and Ettalong United’s U18 Men’s side saw off Merrylands with a narrow 3-2 victory, whilst Avoca’s U14 Girl’s side defeated AC United 2-1 to progress to the semi-finals.

Of the Coasts’ three remaining senior sides, two managed victories to keep their campaigns alive. Southern and Ettalong United’s Over 35 Men recorded a 3-1 victory over Rydalmere, whilst Southern’s Central Coast Unity Bank Women’s League side continued their good form, dispatching Revesby Workers 3-1 in the Women’s All Age competition.

The competition takes a break over the coming long weekend, with matches resuming on Sunday the 13th of October, with all six Central Coast sides set to contest their semi-finals at Pluim Park!

Under 12 Boys:
Terrigal United vs Kellyville Kolts (Hills Football) – Pluim Park, 9:00am.

Under 13 Boys:

Berkeley Vale vs Auburn FC (Granville Football) – Pluim Park, 10:15am.

Under 18 Men:

Glenmore Park (Nepean Football) vs Southern and Ettalong United – Pluim Park, 10:15am.

Over 35 Men:
Springwood United (Nepean Football) vs Southern and Ettalong United – Pluim Park, 11:30am.

Under 14 Girls:
Avoca vs Merrylands (Granville Football) – Pluim Park, 9:00am.

All Age Women:
Southern and Ettalong United vs Manly Vale (Manly-Warringah Football) – Pluim Park, 12:15pm.
