The opening round of the 2019 WPL season kicked off on Sunday afternoon with all 10 sides in action across the Central Coast. Umina United managed to kick off their season with a routine 2-0 victory over Kincumber, whilst Southern and Ettalong United managed a 1-0 victory over Woongarrah. Terrigal United and Toukley played out the first draw of the season, whilst it was goals galore in the remaining two fixtures, with Kanwal prevailing 4-0 over Kariong and East Gosford knocking off last season’s Champions Gosford City 4-3.
