It is with a very heavy heart that Berkeley Vale Soccer Club confirms the tragic news that our great friend and member Allan Brooks was killed in an accident on the M1 yesterday.
Al or ‘Brooksy’ as he was known to all was a passionate, proud Wombat and a huge character who has made our Club and community a better place. He will be deeply missed.
Our sincere and heartfelt condolences to Karen, Amelia, Billy and all the family.

For all of those who knew Al, his funeral will be held on Friday the 12th of May 2017, at 2pm at the Greenway Chapel, 460 Avoca Drive, Green point NSW

UPDATE

“Berkeley Vale Soccer Club would like to express our thanks and gratitude for the amazing gestures made over the weekend for Brooksy. The football community showed so much respect. Love  and loyalty for one of our own. Karen, Amelia and Billy all attended our 35’s games on Friday night and Saturday, as well as Premier League, and on Sunday at Kurraba and Al’s spirit was felt everywhere we went. Including a Kangaroo/Wallaby hopping across Kurraba 1.

If everyone could dig deep for Al’s family there is a Go Fund me Page as follows:
